Job Title: Overhire Graphics Installer
Position: Exempt, Part-time
Department: Graphics
Pay Rate: $25-40 per hour, based on experience, no benefits
About the Position:
John Murray Productions is seeking a freelance Graphics & Vinyl Installer to join our overhire team for on-site installation. Graphics Installers report to the project and/or supervisor, and are responsible for the installation of graphic elements to specified company standards. Graphics Installers will be required to work with JMP supervisors, overhire crew, or union crew for the installation and strike. Graphics Installers must be able to communicate effectively, and work well under specified time constraints. Graphics Installers work as scheduled, occasionally travel, must be prompt, and professional in attitude and appearance.
In this role, you will:
- Install graphic elements, including adhesive backed vinyl and window clings, to company standards without supervision
- Safely and efficiently operate all necessary installation tools
- Work unsupervised from detailed install drawings
- Participate in the safe loading and unloading of trucks
- Contribute to on-site carpenter teams as needed

Skills / Requirements:
- 1+ years of vinyl installation experience
- Proven client management experience and ability to work calmly under a client's exacting standards
- Experience working with medium to large installation and fabrication crews, including IUPAT & IATSE.
- Ability to work as a team player under tight production deadlines
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, maneuver large panels, and work on ladders
- Prompt, responsible, and self-motivated
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Commitment to safety
- Experience with scenic carpentry
- Certification: Forklift/telehandler/boom lift, scissor lift
- Class C clean driving record, with experience driving 24' box trucks
