PAINT CREWS: Stop Chasing Leads. We Sell the Jobs. You Paint.
High Level Residential Painters
Description
$40–$50+/Man-Hour Equivalent | Premium Residential | Fast Pay | Consistent Work
If you're an established painting crew in Metro Detroit and you're tired of spending your evenings chasing leads, writing estimates, following up with homeowners, and wondering where the next project is coming from—we should probably talk.
We're Paint to Life, a growing residential painting company serving Royal Oak, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Northville, Plymouth, Novi and surrounding areas.
We're looking to build long-term relationships with a small number of professional subcontractor crews who know how to paint and want to make good money doing it.
Here's our side of the deal:
We find the clients.
We sell the projects.
We build the scopes.
We communicate expectations.
We keep the schedule moving.
You show up, run a professional job, produce great work, and get paid.
WHAT THE MONEY LOOKS LIKE
Our projects are priced by the job—not hourly—but we aim to build labor budgets that allow a good, efficient crew to earn roughly $40–$50+ per man-hour equivalent.
If you run an efficient crew and finish ahead of the labor budget while meeting our quality standards, you keep the upside.
We're not interested in punishing good painters for being fast.
NO NET-30 NONSENSE
Complete the project.
We walk it together.
Everything looks good.
You get paid.
We don't believe our subcontractors should be financing our business.
WE ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND PAINTING
This isn't a lead-generation company run by people who've never held a brush.
Our projects are estimated using real-world painting production rates, and the company is run by people who understand what it actually takes to prep and paint a house correctly.
You'll receive clear scopes, project information, photos/videos when applicable, and client expectations before the project begins.
Our goal is simple:
Good jobs. Good clients. Good money. No chaos.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR EVERY PAINTER
We're looking for established crews who:
- Carry General Liability and Workers' Compensation
- Have their own professional tools and equipment
- Have reliable transportation
- Are comfortable spraying AND brush/rolling
- Understand professional residential prep
- Keep clean, organized jobsites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Show up when they say they're going to show up
- Care about the finished product
- Want a long-term relationship—not just one quick project
We respect good tradespeople, and we expect the same level of professionalism in return.
If you're already good at the painting side of the business, you shouldn't have to become a full-time salesperson just to keep your crew busy.
That's where we come in.
Reply with:
1. Your name/company name
2. Crew size
3. Years of painting experience
4. Areas you work in
5. Interior / exterior / both
6. A few photos of recent work
7. Best phone number to reach you
If it looks like a fit, we'll set up a quick conversation and go from there.
Hope to hear from you!
Noah, Paint to Life
