Painter & Cleaner / Pintor y Limpieza – $25–$30/hr

AR PAINTING PROS IS HIRING

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Painter / Cleaner / Field Assistant to work directly with our contractor and crews on residential and commercial projects.

This is a dual-role position combining painting AND professional residential cleaning.

Some days you may be painting, preparing surfaces, completing touch-ups or helping finish a larger project. Other days you may be assigned to a complete full-house residential cleaning.

You must be willing and able to perform BOTH painting and cleaning.

If you are only looking for painting work or only interested in cleaning, this position is not the right fit.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
• Monday–Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 30-minute off-duty meal period
• Paid rest breaks as required by law
• Approximately 40 hours per week depending on workload

PAINTING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interior and exterior painting
• Painting bedrooms, bathrooms and other interior spaces
• Painting doors, trim and baseboards
• Assisting with cabinet painting and refinishing
• Brush and roller work
• Masking and surface preparation
• Sanding and scraping
• Patching minor imperfections
• Caulking
• Priming
• Protecting floors, furniture, windows and surrounding surfaces
• Touch-ups and final detailing
• Punch-list and project closeout work
• Correcting imperfections before final client walkthroughs
• Helping finish larger projects after the main production work is completed
• Keeping tools, materials and jobsites clean and organized

CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not only involve cleaning up after painting projects.

AR Painting Pros also performs residential cleaning, and you may be assigned to complete full-house cleaning projects when we are hired specifically for cleaning services.

Cleaning may include:

• Complete residential house cleaning
• Deep cleaning homes from top to bottom
• Post-construction cleaning
• Post-painting cleaning
• Move-in / move-out style cleaning when required
• Cleaning kitchens
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Vacuuming
• Mopping floors
• Cleaning baseboards and trim
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Cleaning countertops and cabinets
• Cleaning windows and interior glass when included in the project
• Removing construction and painting dust
• Cleaning doors and fixtures
• Final detailing before turning a property back over to the client

Attention to detail is extremely important.

We want someone who notices what needs to be done instead of waiting to be told about every small detail.

FIELD ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

You will also work directly as an assistant to the contractor and may:

• Help load and organize materials
• Prepare jobsites before work begins
• Protect customers’ homes and belongings
• Assist with project setup and breakdown
• Help complete final project details
• Perform minor painting-preparation repairs
• Keep jobsites organized and professional
• Work independently on smaller assignments once trained
• Move between painting, cleaning and field-assistant responsibilities depending on the day’s project

• Must be comfortable performing BOTH painting and cleaning

• Able to keep work areas clean and organized
• Able to work independently after receiving instructions

BASIC TOOLS

Applicants should have basic personal tools such as:

• Paint brushes
• Scrapers
• 5-in-1 painter’s tool
• Drill/driver
• Basic hand tools
• Small step ladder

AR Painting Pros provides larger equipment and normal project materials, including sprayers, larger ladders, paint/coatings, masking materials and other project-specific supplies.
