painter/ wood finisher

Small custom wood products manufacturer in Pinellas Park has an opening for a full-time painter/ wood finisher.
Previous spray finishing experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person. A good eye for color and detail, a steady hand, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures carefully are more important to us than years of experience.
An art background or other experience involving color and visual detail is a plus.
The work includes staining wood, spray finishing, preparing and mixing finishing materials, sanding and surface preparation, inspecting finished work, cleaning and maintaining spray equipment, and other related production work.
You must be dependable and on time every day. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to stay focused and work carefully and consistently.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. without difficulty.
Starting pay is $18–$20/hour depending on experience and skills.
40 hours per week — four 10-hour days on, 3 days off.
Pay by direct deposit. Paid holidays, PTO, and paid vacation after one year of employment.
