Job Summary
We are looking for a Painting Apprentice who wants to learn the trade and build a long-term career in the construction industry.
This role is ideal for someone with strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn. You will work directly with experienced painters and gain hands-on training in professional painting techniques, jobsite preparation, and finishing work.
The right candidate is reliable, motivated, and ready to show up every day and put in the work.
Responsibilities
- Assist painters with jobsite preparation and setup
- Help with surface preparation including sanding, taping, and cleaning
- Mix and prepare paints and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Learn proper painting techniques and equipment usage
- Follow safety guidelines and jobsite standards
- Support the team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work on-site in various locations throughout NYC
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in construction environments
