Love crafting, sewing, quilting, knitting, or working with your hands?
Country Braid House has been handcrafting braided rugs in Tilton, NH since 1968. We’re looking for a creative, dependable person to join our small team and help create one-of-a-kind rugs enjoyed in homes across the country.
No experience required—we’ll train the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Hand-lace braided rugs of various sizes and shapes
- Assist with rug production and finishing
- Organize wool and supplies
- Help keep the studio clean and organized
- Assist customers in person, by phone, and online
- Help fulfill customer orders
- Enjoys crafting, sewing, quilting, knitting, or other hands-on hobbies
- Likes working with textiles and color
- Is dependable and detail-oriented
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Enjoys learning new skills
- Works well independently and with a small team
- Flexible part-time schedule (15–20+ hours/week)
- Paid training

- Basic computer and math skills
- Sewing or fiber arts experience is helpful but not required
