Part-Time Delivery & Equipment Technician (Soft Serve Rentals)
Flexible, On-Call Position with Opportunity for Full-Time
We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined team member to join our soft serve rental business. This is a hands-on position involving the delivery, setup, pickup, and maintenance of commercial soft serve machines for parties, corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions.
This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling. For the right candidate, this role can grow into a full-time position with additional responsibilities in inventory management, shipping, and office support.
Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up commercial soft serve machines at customer locations
• Safely load, unload, and move machines weighing up to approximately 550 lbs
• Drive a company truck equipped with a liftgate
• Set up equipment at event locations
• Clean, sanitize, and inspect machines after each rental (training provided)
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Provide friendly, professional customer service

Full-Time Growth Opportunities
Candidates with computer and organizational experience may also assist with:

• Parts inventory management
• Packing and shipping parts and product samples
• Basic computer and administrative tasks
• Warehouse organization

Qualifications
Required

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely move and maneuver equipment weighing up to 550 lbs using dollies, liftgates, and proper lifting techniques
• Comfortable driving a box truck or delivery truck
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Excellent customer service skills
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred

• HVAC, refrigeration, appliance repair, or mechanical experience
• Warehouse or delivery experience
• Forklift or liftgate experience
• Basic computer skills
• Inventory or shipping experience
