Part-Time Garage Door Service Technician

Ivy Garage is hiring a dependable part-time Garage Door Service Technician to serve St. Louis Park and the western Minneapolis suburbs.

THE ROLE

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and explain residential garage door systems
• Work on springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, sensors, balance, and related hardware after proper training
• Communicate repair options clearly and without pressure
• Follow documented safety, job, and customer-care procedures
• Maintain accurate job notes, photos, inventory, and payment records using modern field software

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Garage door, carpentry, mechanical, construction, automotive, or similar hands-on experience
• Experienced garage door technicians are encouraged to apply; strong mechanical candidates who want to learn the trade are also welcome
• Dependable, coachable, safety-minded, and comfortable working directly with homeowners
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company-insurance requirements
• Able to perform physical field work involving ladders, overhead systems, tools, and service calls throughout the west metro
• Availability for recurring part-time hourly W-2 work
