Part Time Laminate Countertop Installer

West Coast Countertops is seeking an experienced part time laminate countertop installer to complete projects in the Caldwell, Idaho area and surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate has prior experience installing laminate countertops and can work independently while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and customer service. This position is paid by piece rate, with compensation based on completed installations.

Responsibilities

• Install post form and custom laminate countertops
• Install backsplashes, end splashes, seams, and related components

• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and installation drawings
• Scribe, fit, level, and adjust countertops as needed

• Verify job site conditions before beginning installation
• Communicate job site concerns to the project management team

• Safely handle and move countertop materials
• Maintain a clean and professional work area

• Provide courteous service while working in customer homes

Requirements

• Prior laminate countertop installation experience required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently
• Ability to read measurements and installation documentation

• Basic countertop installation tools
• Ability to lift and move countertop materials safely

• Dependable, professional, and detail oriented
• Ability to pass a background check
