Part-Time Low Voltage Installer

We are heading into the busy season and looking for extra hands.

You're the kind of person who notices when a cable run is sloppy — not because anyone told you to care, but because you can't not care. You've been in the trades long enough to know that most people are just trying to get through the day. You're not most people.

The plate that sits flush because you took the extra thirty seconds. That stuff matters to you, and you've probably gotten frustrated working with people it doesn't matter to.

Why Clear Telecommunications exists

We're not in business to just install cameras and pull Cat6.
We're in business because somewhere in Sonoma County right now, there's a winery owner losing sleep over theft. A medical office that just had a break-in. A family that doesn't feel safe at home. What you'd actually be doing

Honest version: a lot of this job is physical, and not glamorous.
You'd be crawling through attics in August. Squeezing into crawl spaces with spiders. Drilling through top plates and fishing cables down walls. Pulling CAT6 and fiber through conduit. Mounting cameras, access points, and door readers. Terminating, testing, labeling.

Cleaning up so the client's space looks better than when you arrived.

You'd mostly be on UniFi systems — Network, Protect cameras, Access control, sometimes Talk phones. If you don't know UniFi yet, that's fine. We'll teach you. What we can't teach is the work ethic and the eye for detail.
Schedule: Part time to start, could grow into full-time for the right person.

Who we're looking for

Minimum 2 years in the construction trades — electrical, low voltage, framing, HVAC, plumbing, solar, whatever. You know jobsites. You know how buildings are put together.
You can get into tight spaces — crawl spaces, attics, above drop ceilings — and you can drill through framing without splitting it or hitting something you shouldn't.
You know how to pull cable properly — bend radius, not crushing the jacket, not over-tensioning.
Clean valid driver's license.
You'll be driving to client sites.
You show up. On time. Every time. If something comes up, you call before you're late, not after.
You give a damn. This is the one that matters most.

Bonus if you have low voltage experience already, but it's not required.

We are looking for someone with pervious installation experience and salary is dependent on previous experience.
