Part-Time Maintenance & Handyman Position

Philadelphia Restaurants | $150–$250/Day ($20-$30 per hour)

We are a small, independently owned restaurant group looking for a reliable, capable, and versatile maintenance person to help keep our properties and equipment in good working order.

Our restaurants are located in Center City Philadelphia and surrounding neighborhoods, including South Philadelphia, Fishtown, and Kensington.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with general handyman experience who enjoys varied work, can troubleshoot problems independently, and takes pride in doing things properly.

Schedule & Compensation

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Flexible schedule: two full days or three shorter days
• $150–$250 per day, depending on experience and abilities
• Compensation is for labor only; all project materials are supplied

What You'll Be Doing

The work is varied, with a combination of routine maintenance, small repairs, and occasional troubleshooting. Typical responsibilities include:

• Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Minor electrical repairs and installations
• General handyman work and punch-list projects
• Light mechanical work, including basic HVAC and refrigeration maintenance
• Addressing miscellaneous repair needs as they arise across our locations

We're looking for someone comfortable handling a range of smaller jobs rather than a specialist in any one trade. Knowing your limitations and recognizing when a job requires a licensed professional is equally important.

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, you have at least one year of relevant maintenance, repair, or handyman experience and are comfortable working independently.

You should be someone who:

• Can assess a problem, identify what's needed, and get the job done efficiently
• Has a working knowledge of common tools, materials, and repair techniques
• Communicates clearly and professionally with restaurant staff and management
• Follows instructions and pays attention to details
• Shows up when expected and follows through on commitments
• Maintains a neat appearance and leaves work areas clean and safe

A Few Requirements

• Your own tools suitable for general maintenance work
• Reliable transportation between restaurant locations
• Ability to pass a background check
• Relevant hands-on experience strongly preferred
