Part-Time Measure Tech Needed (East Side)

A Cleveland-based flooring installation company is looking for a part-time Measure Technician to cover the east side, primarily Middlefield, OH and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for someone in the flooring industry looking to make extra cash on the side—this is not full-time work.

What you’ll be doing:

Measuring residential spaces (with occasional small commercial jobs) for flooring installation
Projects may include tile, hardwood, floating floors, carpet, and backsplashes
Providing clear, accurate, and straightforward quotes
Submitting measurements, notes, and photos after each job
Identifying potential site issues (floor leveling, subfloor concerns, layout challenges, etc.)

What we offer:

$35 per measure
Flexible, very part-time workload (typically 1–2 measures per week)
A simple process—no sales required, just measure and report

Requirements:

Experience in flooring installation or measuring (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to identify potential installation issues
Reliable transportation
Professional communication with customers

Tools/Process:

No special technology required—hand-drawn diagrams are acceptable
Must provide clear measurements, notes, and photos of each space

Service area:

East side coverage, primarily Middlefield and surrounding communities
