In and around the Los Angeles area, as far north as Sylmar, as far south as Aliso Viejo, as far east as Hesperia, as far west as Oxnard.
Job Description:
Are you a handyman or a delivery driver? Are you looking for extra work on the side?
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual as a 1099 independent contractor to read electric, gas, and water meters in the Los Angeles area. As a meter reader, this individual will be responsible for accurately recording readings and submitting them in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:

• Read and record meter readings accurately and efferently in Microsoft Excel or a Manual Read APP.
• Take photos of meters as needed.
• Submit property read files through email and/or upload reads through the Manual Reads APP.
• Work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Communicate with our team as needed.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be physically able to walk entire property, bend, kneel, and get down on their hands and knees as needed to access meters. This job requires working outdoors and applicants should be comfortable getting their hands dirty.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a computer with Microsoft Office to include Excel.
• Must have an iPhone or Android Smart Phone.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized and able to manage your own schedule.
• Must have effective communication skills. Bilingual is a plus but not necessary.
• Must invoice the company for work performed.

Compensation:

• Pay varies and is based on the amount of time required on each property.
• There are currently 49 properties available to read. Most are read once a month; some properties are read every other month.
• Forty-nine properties to be read throughout the month, pay is approximately $4,500.00
• Invoices are paid twice monthly.
