Part-Time Retail/Floral Preservation Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our team at Starr Collective as a Part-Time Retail/Floral Preservation Assistant.

In this role, you will be responsible for the intake of wedding and special occasion flowers, preparing them for drying, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked floral preservation studio for the artist. Comfort working with resin and other artistic materials is essential, as you will engage with both retail and preservation clients in our storefront.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in a flower shop, wedding events, or other creative roles involving flowers, resin, sanding. You understand that along with the beauty of flowers and art are lots of dirty work tasks (iykyk).

We emphasize kindness, care, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Training will be provided by the owner but a quick ramp up is also expected as wedding season is upon us.

The pay rate is $20 per hour for approximately 2-4 days a week, within our shop hours of Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Consistent Saturday availability is a plus.
