Part-Time Upholsterer

Seeking a skilled Part-Time Upholsterer to join our luxury made to order furniture upholstery team in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

We are looking for someone with strong upholstery experience and a passion for working with high-quality materials and fine craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable working across a wide range of upholstered forms and materials.

Qualifications

Professional experience in upholstery

Experience working with leather, silk, mohair, and a wide range of fine upholstery fabrics
Skilled in pattern making
Proficient with both hand and machine sewing for upholstery and/or garments
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Drapery experience is a plus

Part-time, 5 days per week
12:00 PM–5:00 PM
Located in Red Hook, Brooklyn
Flexibility in hours based on availability
Compensation based on experience
