Performance Shop Looking for Tech / Mechanic

OG Performance & Tuning in Santa Clara is looking for a Performance Shop Technician / Mechanic Helper.

This position starts 3–4 days per week, with full-time very possible after the initial shop-fit period and 90-day review. We are looking for the right person long-term, but we want to make sure work quality, reliability, and shop fit are proven first.

We work on BMW M cars, Mopar, Supra, Corvette, Porsche, exotic/performance vehicles, turbo and supercharger builds, diagnostics, wiring, suspension, cooling systems, dyno prep, and custom performance work.

You do not need to know tuning.

You do need to be reliable, careful, clean, honest, mechanically capable, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performance part installation
• Basic diagnostics
• Suspension work
• Cooling system work
• Turbo/supercharger support work
• Brake and maintenance work
• Wiring support
• Engine/transmission removal support
• Dyno prep
• Vehicle inspections
• Shop cleanup and organization
• Following checklists and quality-control procedures

Ideal candidate:

• Has automotive mechanical experience
• Has basic tools
• Shows up on time
• Works clean
• Respects customer vehicles
• Can follow instructions and procedures
• Can communicate clearly
• Is interested in performance cars and diagnostics
• Wants to grow into a stronger technician

BMW, European, Mopar, Mustang, Corvette, Supra, wiring, fabrication, or performance experience is a plus, but attitude and clean work matter most.

This is not a normal oil-change/brake-only shop. We work around expensive customer vehicles, custom builds, tuning projects, proprietary shop processes, customer information, and private vehicle details. All team members are expected to follow shop privacy, confidentiality, and quality-control policies.

Schedule:

• 3–4 days per week to start
• Paid shop-fit/evaluation day
• 90-day review
• Full-time possible if work quality, reliability, and shop fit are proven
