Role Description The Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, the technician installs and maintains bird control systems, such as netting, spikes, and other deterrents, on residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include inspecting sites, identifying bird-related issues, performing safe ladder and roof work, and ensuring all solutions are installed according to company standards and safety guidelines. The technician communicates with customers on-site, explains recommended services, and documents work performed through reports or photos. This position may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols and respectful interaction with clients and team members.

Qualifications

Ability to perform hands-on technical work, including basic tool use, minor repairs, and installation of bird control systems.
Comfort working at heights and on ladders or roofs, with a strong focus on safety and situational awareness.
Basic problem-solving and assessment skills to identify bird issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Clear, respectful communication skills for interacting with customers and collaborating with team members.
Reliable transportation in and around Phoenix, AZ and ability to maintain punctual, consistent attendance.
Physical ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in pest control, construction, maintenance, or field service is beneficial.
Willingness to follow company training, safety procedures, and applicable regulations for humane bird management.
