Pipe Fitter

Hiring for an experienced gas plumber or pipe fitter. Please apply in person M-F 8:30-4:30

Job Duties consist of:
a) Welding, Grinding, Drilling, Punching, Cutting, Plasma Cutting and Pipe Threading.
b) Building Air Systems on Machines before going into Refractory Department and on Machines coming out of Refractory before they go into Mechanical.
c) All necessary work tools/safety equipment to complete duties will be supplied except basic welding tools like tape measure, welding hood and sleeves.
d) Must be able to read Blue Prints and fill out “Quality Control” paperwork with Serial Numbers of all components used and maintain stock inventory.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
a) Able to lift 50 lbs. on a continual basis, climb ladders and bend frequently.
b) Sit, stand, continuously bend, reach, walk, lift and carry.
