Pipefitter Level 1 - $38/hr + $150 per diem

We are currently seeking applicants for a construction project in Childress, TX.

Working7 -12 hour shifts.
$150.00 per diem offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling & Prep: Moving, organizing, and loading pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Assisting Journeymen: Helping senior fitters measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe spools.
• Site Cleanup & Safety: Clearing the work area, maintaining equipment, and acting as a fire watch during welding operations.
• Basic Installation: Securing brackets, hangers, and supports for piping systems.
• Testing: Assisting with hydrostatic and pressure testing of assembled lines.

• $150.00 per diem

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• High stamina is necessary. The job requires standing, climbing, and lifting materials often in excess of 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills, mechanical reasoning, and the ability to learn to read blueprints.

Certifications:
• NCCER is required, NCCER Advanced is preferred. OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction safety certification is frequently required.
