Plumbing & Utility Construction Technician — Ace Tech LLC

Location: Based in Santa Fe, with job sites throughout New Mexico
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications

Ace Tech LLC is hiring a dependable, hands-on technician to join our plumbing, mechanical, and utility construction team. We have utility projects throughout New Mexico and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work and is willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install piping, valves, pumps, meters, and related equipment for water utility and pump house projects.
• Assist with plumbing and mechanical installations on commercial and residential jobs.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and secure piping and equipment.
• Assist with trenching, material handling, equipment placement, and job site preparation.
• Read plans and follow installation instructions.
• Help with pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, and system startup.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical work, or utility construction preferred.
• Familiarity with PVC, ductile iron, copper, steel, and other piping systems is helpful.
• Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors, handle materials, and perform physical construction work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Travel Requirements

This position includes travel to job sites throughout New Mexico. Depending on the project location and schedule, overnight stays and multiple days away from home may be required. Applicants must be comfortable with statewide travel. Travel arrangements and compensation will be discussed during the interview.
