Plumber Journeyman with the Princess Kaiulani

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our hotel Engineering team in Waikiki. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems throughout a large hotel property.

POSITION DETAILS
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Waikiki, Honolulu, HI
Department: Hotel Engineering
Pay: $33.89

• $42.36 per Hour
• Respond to plumbing-related guest calls and work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, drains, and piping
• Perform drain cleaning and snaking
• Repair and maintain interior and exterior plumbing systems
• Identify and operate plumbing valves and utility shutoffs
• Assist with fire sprinkler plumbing components as assigned
• Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures
• Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled plumbing work
• Maintain plumbing tools, equipment, parts, and supplies
• Document completed work in the hotel’s maintenance/work-order system
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Coordinate with Engineering and other hotel departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyman-level plumbing experience required
• Commercial, hotel, resort, or large facility experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, drains, and related systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize service calls
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and professional when working around guests

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in mechanical spaces and other restricted areas.
