# Plumbing Helper / Entry-Level Plumbing Assistant – $20–$28/hr – San Marcos, CA

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking plumbing helper to join our team. Plumbing experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in learning the trade.

### Job Responsibilities

• Assist with residential plumbing repairs, installations, water heaters, faucets, toilets, piping, water treatment systems, and other service work.
• Drive the company van to job sites and suppliers once authorized.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
• Assist with digging, lifting, and other physical work.
• Protect customers' homes and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Keep the company van and tools clean and organized.
• Follow instructions carefully and complete assigned tasks independently after appropriate training.

### Requirements

• Honest, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and accept feedback.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on assigned tasks without constant supervision.
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to our commercial auto insurer.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and assist with heavier items using team lifting or appropriate equipment.
• Comfortable performing hands-on physical work.
• Professional and respectful toward customers and coworkers.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
• Plumbing or construction experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must comply with our drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy. No alcohol, marijuana, or other drug-related impairment while working or operating company vehicles.

### Schedule & Work-Life Balance

We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our normal working schedule is Monday through Friday, and we make an effort to avoid unnecessarily long workdays and weekend work.

Occasional overtime may be necessary, and rare weekend work may be requested for emergencies.

This position will initially be part-time, approximately 24–32 hours per week depending on workload, with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment.

**Employees must report to our designated location in San Marcos, CA, at the beginning and end of each workday.** Transportation between the reporting location and job sites is provided in the company van.

Work schedules may vary, including occasional planned company closures.
