Plumbing Technician

Gladiator Repipe, Inc. (GRI) is seeking a skilled, dependable, and professional Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong residential and/or commercial plumbing experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for performing repipe, plumbing repairs, installations, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance while representing Gladiator Repipe, Inc. in a professional manner at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities-

Perform residential and commercial plumbing repairs, installations, and service work.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
Perform sewer and drain cleaning, including snaking and hydro-jetting when required.
Assist with repipe projects, including water, gas, sewer, and associated plumbing systems.
Install and replace plumbing fixtures, valves, faucets, water heaters, pressure regulators, cleanouts, and related components.
Perform leak detection and plumbing system inspections.
Operate plumbing tools, equipment, cameras, locating equipment, and other specialized equipment safely and properly.
Read and interpret plumbing plans, drawings, and job specifications when required.
Follow applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Communicate clearly with customers, property managers, general contractors, supervisors, and office personnel.
Explain plumbing issues, recommended repairs, and completed work to customers in a professional manner.
Complete service reports, work orders, photographs, and required documentation accurately.
Coordinate with other technicians and field personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Identify additional plumbing issues and communicate recommendations to the appropriate supervisor or estimator.
Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials in good working condition.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other plumbing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications-

Previous plumbing experience required; residential and/or commercial experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems efficiently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver plumbing materials and equipment.
Ability to work in confined spaces, crawl spaces, attics, trenches, and other jobsite conditions.
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Plumbing certification or journeyman-level experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements-

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, work in confined areas, and lift and carry plumbing materials and equipment as needed. Technicians must be able to safely perform essential job functions in varying residential and commercial jobsite environments.
