Plumbing Technician

GreenTree Maintenance, a Veritas Investments company, is seeking experienced plumbers to join our maintenance team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete plumbing related work orders in a timely fashion
Trouble shoot plumbing issues and implement repair strategies
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Communicate with team members, resident managers, and maintenance supervisor throughout the day
Daily reporting of completed work order, open work order and any issues encountered using our DRiVE Maintenance software
Daily submittal of time sheets, gas mileage and invoices associated with the work orders
Maintains regular contact with residents and skilled trades keeping detailed current system records and documents

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Expert level plumber that is familiar with all aspects of plumbing systems and plumbing repairs
Able to problem solve and think critically
Deadline and detail-oriented
Customer Service-minded
Good working knowledge of tools and devices required to perform the job
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Able to work well with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
Be responsive with emails, calls and texts

QUALIFICATIONS

Must pass an in person skills assessment
High school diploma or equivalent; California State Certification a plus but not required
Ideally 2-5 years of experience as a Plumber preferred
Must own and be very familiar with a smart phone and know how to use email
Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver license and insurance.
