Prep Department in Cabinetmaking Shop

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our cabinet making shop as a Prep Department team member. This role involves preparing materials and components essential for the cabinet making process.

Responsibilities:

• Taping off, scuffing, and sanding cabinet components
• Applying stain to cabinet components

• Keeping various jobs and parts organized
• Cleaning and maintaining work stations and shop floor

Experience

• Previous experience in a woodworking or cabinet making environment is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with using sanders is a plus

- Ability to read and interpret design plans and measurements accurately
