Private Estate Caretaker (Part-Time, Potential Full-Time)

We're looking for someone who takes pride in a property and naturally notices what needs attention. The ideal candidate sees weeds before they're overgrown, notices irrigation issues before plants suffer, and enjoys tackling a variety of outdoor projects without needing constant direction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving a property—not just maintaining it—and takes satisfaction in noticing the little things that others might miss.

This is a part-time position maintaining a private family property, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity for the right person.

Compensation: $30–35/hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Irrigation monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs

Garden and vineyard maintenance
Animal care and feeding
Pond maintenance and algae control
Fence construction and repairs
Drainage and erosion projects
General property upkeep and light handyman work
Operating and maintaining property equipment
Mowing, weed whacking, blowing, and general landscape maintenance

Qualifications:

Must communicate clearly in English

Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Experience with ranch, farm, vineyard, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
Comfortable working around animals
Able to work independently and identify issues before they become larger problems
Dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
References required
