Production Generalist – Screen Print Shop

About the Role

Pittsburgh Print House is looking for a Production Generalist to join our screen print shop team. This is a hands-on production role that supports multiple departments and is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in apparel decoration and manufacturing.

This position will assist with quality control, printer support, heat printing, and finishing projects such as folding, bagging, tagging, and private labeling garments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into production and grow through a structured training path.

What You’ll Do

• Support screen print production as a printer assistant
• Help with quality control to ensure decorated garments meet company standards
• Assist with heat printing and other decoration-related tasks
• Complete finishing work including:
• Folding
• Bagging
• Tagging
• Private labeling
• Help with special projects and general production support as needed
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area
• Work as a flexible team player across departments during busy seasonal periods

Training & Growth Opportunity
We provide on-the-job training for team members who want to grow into a more advanced production role. This position is designed as a seasonal generalist role with the opportunity to become a specialist through our internal training plan.

Our typical training path ranges from 3 to 12 months, depending on performance, consistency, and prior experience. Strong candidates may advance into roles such as:

• Machine Operator
• Lead Production Support
• Heat Print Specialist
• Finishing / Private Label Specialist

Compensation & Benefits

• $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience
