Production Manager - Residential Remodeling

OBI is looking for candidates with good communication skills, the ability to motivate others towards achieving scheduling goals. Teamwork is a very important part of this position and deliver exceptional services to all our clients.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a skilled remodeler with at least 5 years of experience in Project Management or as a Lead Carpenter
• Must have extensive knowledge of all residential remodeling, construction trades, procedures/techniques, materials, specifications, and current building codes
• Must be a dedicated employee with a strong professional work ethic and positive attitude
• Must have a clean driver’s license and able to tow a trailer (company truck with fuel will be provided).

Job Duties:

• Manage Remodeling Projects from start to finish, including the scheduling of all sub-contractors and material take-offs
• Occasionally perform a variety of carpentry work – to assist on jobs if needed or in the field training for new carpenters
• Oversee all OBI field team and trade contractors to ensure job quality
• Deliver an excellent client experience while producing the project on time
• Lead weekly Friday Production Meetings
• Organize and track multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to follow plans and local building codes
• Prior experience working with project management software, Excel and Microsoft Word

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work alert and in a safe manner.
• Frequent standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting and carrying.
• Must have computer experience.
• The job requires the ability to perform visual inspections of the construction project. This position is full-time and typically works 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.
