Production Manager - Signage & Printing

We are a premier, fast-paced custom signage and visual graphics manufacturing center looking for a dynamic, hands-on Production Manager to lead our back-of-house operations.

In this role, you won’t just be supervising; you will be the engine that drives our daily operations, ensuring that every sign, banner, and digital graphic is produced to the highest quality standards, on time, and on budget. Key Responsibilities

Workflow Optimization: Manage the daily production schedule, workflow, and resource allocation to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise production and installation staff, fostering a collaborative, efficient, and safety-conscious culture.
Quality Control: Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process (printing, laminating, cutting, assembly) to ensure flawless execution and minimize material waste.
Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of substrates, vinyl, and inks. Ensure all wide-format printers, plotters, and routers are routinely maintained and calibrated.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales and design teams to review proofs, troubleshoot complex builds, and provide accurate timelines.
Position Requirements: Experience & Background

Industry Experience: 5 to 7 years of production management experience specifically within a fast-paced signage manufacturing shop.
Franchise Familiarity: Direct experience working within a fast-turnaround signage franchise model (e.g., nationwide sign and graphics networks) is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of wide-format digital printing, vinyl application, CNC routing, laminating, and various sign substrates. Knowledge of pre-press software like Onyx and Flexi, and design software like Illustrator, is an added advantage.
Licenses & Skills

Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (necessary for occasional site visits, deliveries, or installation oversight).
Language Skills: Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with our diverse team and customer base.
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong spatial awareness, and the calm-under-pressure demeanor required for a rapid-turnaround shop.
