Description
Small custom woodworking shop in Pinellas Park is looking for another full-time person to join our production team.
Woodworking experience is not required. Experience working with tools, machinery, construction, manufacturing or other hands-on work is helpful, and we will train the right person.
Positive attitude and a keen eye for detail are a must.
You must be dependable and on time every day.
Work includes sanding, assembly, material handling, packaging, operating woodworking equipment and other shop production work.
Must have excellent eyesight; this position involves detail work.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. without difficulty.
Must be competent with a tape measure and basic math, including fractions and decimals.
Must be comfortable working with tools and machinery.
Starting pay is $17–$19/hour depending on experience and skills. Pay increases with job performance and development of skills.
40 hours per week — four 10-hour days on, 3 days off**.**
Pay by direct deposit. Paid holidays, PTO, and paid vacation after one year of employment.
We have a clean, bright, well-equipped and well-ventilated professional shop we work with the doors wide open.
