This position could include roles such as Feeder/Packer, Assistant Machine Operator, Baler Operator or Pre Stage Printing.

The Opportunity:

• Perform visual inspection of cartons for printing, die-cutting and gluing defects while feeding and packing cartons
• Report any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food packaging safety and quality
• Participate in line clearance procedures after each item is completed
• Accurately count, label, and inventory products they produce and materials coming to their work area
• Perform quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machine
• Assist operators and assistants as needed
• Assist with make-readies
• Verify case count
• Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMP
• Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Work in other areas as needed, including sorting, and Flat Packing
• Keep area in specs within all 5S requirements
• Work in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely manner
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and training
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. 
• Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction
• Willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
