Production Team Member – Seminole Mill, Jacksonville, FL

Career Opportunity:

The successful team member will be working 12 hour roting shift and must comply with all safety regulions and practices.  WestRock is a team-based environment.  Employee must understand and utilize all safety requirements of job functions, in addition to use all required PPE during job tasks.  Employee must follow standard work procedures and safe work practices/procedures.                                                                                             

(New employees commonly earn between $45,000 - $55,000/year with yearly increases)

How you will impact WestRock:

Various jobs could include but are not limited to:

• OCC/Shipping department - opering lift/clamp trucks loading/unloading merials 
• Paper department - assisting with operions of the paper machine 
• General Services - mill housekeeping and utility duties.

Wh you need to succeed:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 years full-time work experience
• Proven record of performance
• Demonstre the drive to train and achieve upward progression into various job levels
• Capable of working roting shifts including weekends with a 7-day long off. 
• Ability to tolere various working conditions - he, noise, inside/outside conditions.
• Complete training and learning programs for all positions
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work and communice effectively in team-based environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and available for work in all areas of the mill.
• Manufacturing, heavy industrial or Paper Mill Experience Preferred
