Description
Award-winning employee and client-focused design/build remodeling company, established in 1986, seeks full-time Lead Carpenter / Project Manager for local residential remodeling projects. The position is "hands-on" carpentry and supervision, for kitchens, baths, additions, exteriors, decks, etc. in Belmont, Cambridge, Watertown and the surrounding areas.
- Mass Construction Supervisor license is required
- Must have a truck or van with ladder rack and all tools
- 6 years of residential remodeling experience is required
- Must have good communication skills for client contact and be an independent project leader
- Must be an organized project manager with some computer literacy and the willingness to perform required reporting
- Must be able to plan ahead and perform materials takeoffs and coordinate subcontractors
- Must be able to produce quality work across a broad range of remodeling skills
- Must be accomplished and independent at all aspects of frame and finish carpentry
