Project Manager/Estimator

A growing and reputable construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing HVAC/Electrical construction projects from estimating through project completion.

Position Responsibilities:

* Estimating & Pre-Construction
*Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for HVAC/Electrical construction projects
*Review project plans and estimates
*Complete quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, material and equipment
*Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing
*Develop proposals, budgets and bid packages
*Assist with project planning, scheduling and budgeting efforts
*Over see project from pre-construction through final completion
*Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
*Monitor project schedules, budgets and overall job progress
*Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards and safety compliance
*Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers and internal team
*Address project challenges and implement timely solutions
*Ensures project remains on schedule within budget expectations

Qualifications:

*Previous experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator within HVAC/Electrical construction or construction industry required
*Strong understanding of HVAC/Electrical construction methods, site development and related materials
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
*Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Microsoft Office applications
*Strong organizational skills, budgeting and scheduling
*Excellent communications and leadership skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast pace environment
*Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
