Awalix, LLC is recruiting for the position of Superintendent. Regional office is in Boise, Idaho. This is a regular full time position for work in Boise, Idaho, the regional Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii. We currently have an array of federal projects in the Northwest and Alaska that will require travel, but we also have local projects in Idaho as well. Applicants for this position should be very well versed in heavy civil construction, have an understanding of GPS /grade control, have in-water work experience, understand trenchwork scopes, mass excavation, and have management experience working with Project Managers and Foreman. Requirements will include 6+ years experience managing a look ahead schedule, reading plans/specifications to put into practice, and have the ability to coordinate heavy equipment utilization to manage best practices. Organize and hold daily tool box talks, activity hazard analysis, and jobsite safety practices. Work on waterways, including in-water work, and safely working on sloped grades. Ability to manage worksite crews and foster a teamwork mentality. Travel out of town for projects includes per diem for housing/food.
