PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICION

Maintenance Technician — Full-Time

Lewis Properties | East Providence, RI / Warren, RI / Taunton, MA

Lewis Properties, is a family-owned property management company which manages four hundred units in the East Bay area, we are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. We manage residential properties across East Providence, Warren, and Taunton, and we need a reliable, skillful, and positive individual to join our growing team.

What you'll be doing:

-Handling unit turnovers between tenants (painting, patching, cleaning, minor repairs)
-General handyman work: drywall repair, basic plumbing and electrical fixes, door/lock repairs, appliance troubleshooting
-Responding to tenant maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
-Performing routine property upkeep and seasonal maintenance
-Coordinating with the maintenance lead on larger projects and scheduling

What we're looking for:

-Solid general handyman skills — comfortable with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
-Reliable transportation (travel between RI/MA properties required) (Truck Preferred)
-Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and prioritize tasks
-Strong communication skills — you'll interact directly with tenants
-Experience in property maintenance or turnovers a plus, but not required if you're a fast learner with solid trade skills
-We are more than willing to train the right person!
