Regency Homes / Pacesetter Homes

Position Summary

As a Punch Out Technician at Regency Homes / Pacesetter Homes, you play a critical role in preparing homes for final delivery. You are responsible for ensuring each home meets our high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety before it is presented to the buyer.
Your mission is to help deliver a “Zero Defect” home while contributing to a customer “Willingness to Refer” rating of 95% or higher.

Key Responsibilities:

Home Delivery & Quality Assurance
Deliver clean, complete, “Zero Defect” homes ready for buyer walkthroughs.
Perform detailed inspections of interior and exterior finishes, including yard areas nearing completion.
Complete minor repairs as needed and report subcontractor-related issues to the Builder.
Accurately complete and maintain the Quality Assurance checklist.
Customer Service & Communication
Maintain a professional, service-focused attitude with homeowners, trade partners, vendors, and coworkers.
Contribute to achieving a 100% willingness-to-refer rating from both customers and internal team members.

Construction Site Support:

Assist the Builder with site preparation tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, tool maintenance, and general labor.
Support trade contractors with setup, cleanup, and light construction tasks.
Identify, flag, and promptly report safety hazards.
Site Maintenance & Cleanliness
Perform daily jobsite cleanup including sweeping, debris removal, and trash control.
Install and maintain required signage (Closed Worksite, For Sale signs, window signage, etc.).
Shovel snow, de-ice walkways, and assist with providing temporary heat during winter months.

General Duties:

Install and remove temporary walkways and safety railings.
Fur-out windows to accommodate drywall installation.
Maintain and tidy model homes as directed.
Follow all company safety programs and tool policies.

Requirements:

Construction or punch-out experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools and general construction processes.
Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
No DUI within the past 5 years.
No major moving violations.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Must be able to start at 7:00 AM daily and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Must demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward completing daily tasks.
