REBUILD PROJECT MANAGER Water & Mold Remediation
Rebuild Project Manager, Water & Mold Remediation
Description
WHO WE ARE
We are a growing water damage remediation and rebuild company serving residential and commercial clients across the Worcester and Canton, MA markets. We do the full job — mitigation through rebuild — and we're scaling fast. We're adding a Rebuild Project Manager to own reconstruction from post-remediation handoff through final client sign-off.
THE ROLE
This is a field leadership role, not a desk job. You'll manage your own jobs end to end — coordinating our crews and subcontractors, keeping clients informed, protecting margin, and making sure every project closes clean. You'll report directly to ownership and have real authority over how your jobs run.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Manage all active rebuild projects from remediation handoff through completion and client sign-off
Coordinate scheduling across own crews and subcontractors on multiple concurrent jobs
Conduct site walkthroughs at kickoff, during construction, and at completion on every project
Review scopes and estimates before jobs begin — flag discrepancies early, before they cost money
Track job-level costs and hours in real time; escalate margin issues before they become losses
Identify and document change orders; get client approval before work proceeds
Serve as the primary client contact throughout the rebuild phase
Coordinate permits, inspections, and municipality requirements as needed
Maintain organized job files, photos, and completion records on every project
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Construction Supervisor License (CSL) — required; no exceptions
3+ years managing residential and/or commercial construction or restoration projects
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and hold them to scope, schedule, and quality
Comfortable running multiple jobs at once without losing details
Strong client communication — you can set expectations, deliver hard updates, and close jobs without escalations
Experience reading and working from scopes of work, estimates, and construction drawings
Insurance restoration experience is a strong plus
Xactimate or similar estimating software preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$75,000 base salary
Profit share beginning at month 6 — earn 3% of gross margin on jobs you manage, paid quarterly, when you hit all three performance gates: job margin ≥30%, on-time completion ≥85%, and zero unresolved client escalations. Realistic quarterly upside of $4,000–$6,000+ as volume grows.
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
Paid time off and holidays
Health benefits
HOW TO APPLY
Send your resume and a brief note describing a project you managed — what the scope was, what went wrong, and how you handled it. Applications without a CSL will not be reviewed.
