Spa de Soleil, Inc., a cosmetic, personal care, and OTC product manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory / Quality Assurance / Quality Control Specialist to join our team.
This position will support our Regulatory and Quality departments in maintaining compliance with applicable FDA requirements, cGMPs, MoCRA, OTC drug regulations, and internal quality standards.

🧪 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with Regulatory, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) activities for cosmetic, personal care, and OTC products
  • Review and maintain product specifications, formulas, batch records, SOPs, COAs, SDSs, and other controlled documentation
  • Support compliance with FDA cGMP requirements, 21 CFR Parts 210/211, MoCRA, and applicable cosmetic regulations
  • Review incoming raw material documentation, including specifications, COAs, SDSs, and required testing
  • Assist with raw material, bulk, and finished-product release documentation
  • Review manufacturing and packaging records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Assist with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, nonconformances, and change controls
  • Support stability, microbiological, compatibility, efficacy, and other product testing programs
  • Coordinate documentation and testing with third-party laboratories and suppliers
  • Assist with OTC product documentation, testing requirements, and regulatory records
  • Support internal, customer, FDA, and third-party GMP audits and inspections
  • Maintain organized regulatory and quality records and ensure documentation is current and readily retrievable
  • Review product labels and claims for regulatory compliance
  • Assist with supplier qualification and maintenance of supplier documentation
  • Work closely with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve quality and compliance issues
  • Help maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System
✅ What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related compliance role
  • Experience in cosmetic, skincare, personal care, OTC drug, pharmaceutical, or contract manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP requirements
  • Knowledge of MoCRA and OTC drug requirements is highly desirable
  • Experience reviewing technical documents such as COAs, SDSs, specifications, formulas, batch records, and testing reports
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Comfortable communicating with suppliers, customers, laboratories, auditors, and internal departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of a degree
💡 The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both the technical and organizational sides of regulatory and quality work. You should be comfortable reviewing documentation, identifying potential compliance issues, following up with different departments, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
Experience working in a cosmetic or OTC manufacturing facility and familiarity with FDA inspections, GMP audits, OTC documentation, raw-material qualification, and finished-product testing would be especially valuable.
