REMODELING CARPENTER

SKILLED REMODELING CARPENTER
$31–$35/HOUR | FULL-TIME W-2

Human Brothers Co. is hiring a skilled, dependable carpenter for residential remodeling and addition projects throughout St. Louis County, the central corridor and West County.

This is a hands-on carpenter position for someone who can receive a clear assignment and move the project forward without constant supervision. The right person will perform higher-skill carpentry, help organize daily work and provide direction to a developing carpenter when needed.

This is not initially an office or management position. However, someone who consistently demonstrates leadership, communication and good decision-making will have an opportunity to advance into a working-lead role.

TYPICAL WORK

• Residential additions and whole-house remodeling
• Kitchen and bathroom renovations
• Interior and exterior framing
• Door and window installation
• Cabinet installation
• Interior trim, baseboards and finish carpentry
• Decks and exterior carpentry
• Drywall repair and project punch work
• Jobsite protection, organization and cleanup

WHAT WE NEED

• Ability to complete common remodeling and carpentry tasks with limited supervision
• Ability to plan materials, tools and the proper order of work
• Strong attention to fit, finish and overall workmanship
• Dependable attendance and consistent communication
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Basic personal hand tools
• Professional conduct inside occupied homes
• Ability to identify problems and communicate them before they become expensive
• Willingness to provide direction to a developing carpenter
• Ability to accept feedback and work within Human Brothers’ project standards

COMPENSATION

• $31–$35 per hour based on demonstrated ability
• Full-time W-2 position
• Consistent local remodeling work
• No overnight travel
• Performance and compensation review after 90 days
• Opportunity to advance into a working-lead position

Starting pay will be based on what the applicant can independently and consistently accomplish—not simply years in the trade.
