Remodeling / Construction Helper – $23–$28/hr – Golden/West

Silver Shield Home Services is a growing residential remodeling and home-improvement company serving Golden and the Denver metro area. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, general home improvements, and safety/accessibility upgrades that help homeowners remain comfortably in their homes.

We are looking for a reliable construction helper / remodeling laborer to work alongside an experienced General Contractor on residential projects.

What you'll be doing:

Demolition and jobsite preparation

Material handling and cleanup
Basic framing and carpentry
Installing blocking, trim, doors and hardware
Flooring and remodeling assistance
Deck, stair, railing and exterior projects
Kitchen and bathroom remodeling support
General punch-list and repair work
Maintaining a clean and professional jobsite

What we're looking for:

Some residential construction/remodeling experience preferred

Comfortable using common hand and power tools
Reliable transportation
Dependable and able to arrive on time
Able to perform normal construction lifting and physical work
Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Non-smoking on customer properties
References preferred

Compensation: $23–$28/hour depending on experience and capabilities.

Schedule: Initially part-time/project-based, approximately 20–30 hours per week as workload requires. There is an opportunity for increased hours and responsibility as Silver Shield grows.

Location: Primarily Golden, Lakewood, Arvada, Wheat Ridge and the west Denver metro area.
