Repair technician

GLS Products is seeking a part-time repair technician to assist with the maintenance and repair of industrial adhesive application equipment at our Charlotte, NC facility.

Most of the equipment consists of hot-melt adhesive applicators involving pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components. The technician will inspect and diagnose equipment, replace worn or defective parts, clean and test repaired tools, and maintain accurate repair records—including parts used and work performed.

Additional responsibilities may include the assembly and testing of new adhesive applicators.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience repairing mechanical or industrial equipment

Possess a basic understanding of pneumatics and electrical circuits
Be comfortable diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems
Work independently and maintain accurate documentation
Be dependable, organized, and attentive to detail

This position offers approximately one to two days of work per week and may be especially well suited to a semi-retired maintenance technician, mechanic, electrician, or other experienced hands-on professional seeking flexible part-time work.
