Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Stairlift, Ramp and Grab Bar Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Stairlifts and Ramps ensuring that our clients have safe and reliable access solutions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing mobility for individuals with varying needs. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. Basic carpentry experience is required. Ability to deliver exceptional service. On the job training in all Stairlift, Ramp, and Grab Bar will be provided. All tools and trucks will be provided and garaged at warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Install Stairlifts, Ramps and Grab Bars according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. On the job training
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing stairlifts and ramps to ensure functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical components, and structural integrity.
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting and physical labor associated with equipment installation safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws for woodworking) with a focus on safety.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety standards including power tool safety practices.
  • Passion about enhancing the lives of people living with mobility challenges.
  • Sympathetic and Compassionate towards the elderly and people with disabilities
  • Ability to participate in 3 - 5 days of training at headquarters in NJ
  • Driver's license in good standing
