Residential Electrician

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Residential Electrician with Vantage, HOMEWORKS, or SPAN experience.
Location: Santee, CA- Some travel may be required

Job Summary:

As a Residential Electrician, you will play a vital role in our Construction Estimating team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential buildings and homes. In addition to your hands-on electrical work, you will also be involved in the assessment and estimation of costs related to these projects, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential properties
• Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for electrical work in construction projects
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to electrical work and cost estimates
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Residential Electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction, and the electrical industry
• Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting for electrical projects - Proficiency with Vantage (old and new), HOMEWORK, or SPAN (at least 1 of the 3)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Must have Electrician certification

Working Conditions:
This position will involve a mix of office-based and on-site work, with the majority of time spent at residential construction sites. The work environment can be physically demanding, with the need to stand, climb, and lift heavy equipment. A flexible schedule, including occasional evening and weekend work, may be required to accommodate project timelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay range of $30- $45 per hour DOE. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer opportunities for professional development.
