RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE & ELECTRICAL HELPER

Location: El Paso, TX

PAY:

  • Residential Electrician Apprentice: Up to $32/hour
  • Electrical Helper: $20–$22/hour
JOB TYPE: Full-Time / Long-Term
TRAVEL: Local work only – No travel or per diem

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring for a residential electrical contractor with ongoing work. We are looking for two reliable candidates to join their team.

POSITION 1 – RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE

Pay: Up to $32/hour

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a current Texas TDLR Electrical Apprentice License
  • Residential electrical experience required
  • Must be experienced with both rough-in and trim work
  • Experience pulling wire, installing boxes, switches, outlets, fixtures and other residential electrical components
  • Must be able to follow direction from the lead electrician or foreman
  • Must have your own electrical tools and tool belt
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be dependable and ready to work
POSITION 2 – ELECTRICAL HELPER

Pay: $20–$22/hour

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous electrical or construction experience preferred
  • TDLR license is NOT required
  • Assist the electrician with rough-in, trim and general residential electrical work
  • Help pull and organize wire
  • Assist with material handling and jobsite setup
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Must be willing to learn and take direction
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be dependable and ready to work
REQUIRED TOOLS:

Candidates must have their own basic electrical tools and tool belt, including:

  • Wire strippers
  • Pliers
  • Screwdrivers
  • Drill
  • Channel locks
  • Other basic electrical hand tools
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10-panel drug screen required
  • No background check required
  • Local candidates only
  • No travel or per diem available
  • Full-time availability required
