Residential painter

Painter(s) Wanted – Full-Time / Part-Time – Norman Area

Looking to hire a couple painters ASAP. Work is picking up fast this season. Most jobs are residential and located in the Norman area.
Full-time preferred, part-time possible for the right person
Experience strongly preferred, but willing to train someone who shows up and works
Pay: $15/hr (no experience) up to $25/hr (experienced painter with tools)
Pay is hourly and based on performance
Bonuses and commission opportunities available after proven reliability
About the job:
Fast-paced work environment
Typical hours: 9:30 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday (some Saturdays)
Opportunity for more hours once reliability is established
Requirements:
Reliable transportation (non-negotiable)
Ability to stay on task (no constant smoke breaks or phone use)
Willingness to work hard and keep up
Notes:
Not hiring subcontractors (already a subcontractor myself)
Been working with the same general contractor for 9 years — steady work
Criminal history not an automatic disqualifier (case-by-case, no offenses involving women or children)

Pay rate not negotiated upfront — based on how you perform
If it doesn’t work out, you’ll be paid cash for the day
