About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Residential Plumbing Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, assembling, testing, and completing plumbing systems in new residential construction, remodels, and home improvement projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on plumbing experience, understands residential plumbing codes and safety standards, and takes pride in clean, efficient, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent systems, fixtures, valves, and related components.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping using appropriate tools, materials, and approved methods.
- Set and connect plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, water heaters, hose bibs, and other residential equipment.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, proper flow, drainage, pressure, and functionality.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, company standards, safety procedures, and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, protect customer property, and properly dispose of job-site debris.
- Complete basic job documentation, material lists, and work updates as required.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members.
- Previous experience in residential plumbing installation, construction plumbing, or related trade.
- Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems, tools, materials, and installation practices.
- Understanding of plumbing codes, job-site safety practices, and quality workmanship standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to completing work on time.
- Apprentice, journeyman, or state plumbing license, if applicable.
- Experience with rough-in, top-out, trim-out, remodel, or new construction plumbing.
- Experience installing water heaters, fixtures, PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, or other common residential plumbing materials.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and job-site equipment safely.
This is a field-based position performed at residential job sites. Standard work hours are typically Monday through Friday, with overtime or occasional weekend work based on project needs.
