Residential service technician/carpenter - Residential Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and professional Residential Service Technician / Carpenter to support and oversee work at residential properties. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, has excellent attention to detail, and understands the importance of professionalism when working directly with homeowners and other trades.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing access and onsite activities, identifying and resolving issues, and serving as a professional representative of the company in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to residential properties and oversee work performed by other trades, vendors, and service providers.
• Professionally interact and communicate with homeowners, maintaining a courteous, polished, and service-oriented presence at all times.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure the property is properly protected and left clean and orderly.
• Perform carpentry and service work, including: Framing and Finish carpentry, door and window adjustments and repairs, cabinet, door, and window hardware installation
• Provide the Project Manager with daily reports, including photos, documenting work performed, site conditions, and issues discovered.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping the Project Manager informed of progress and concerns.
• Coordinate onsite activities and communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and homeowners.
• Travel to various residential properties throughout San Francisco and the greater Bay Area as needed. *Majority of work in in SF.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
