Residential Swimming Pool Repair/Service Technician

HERE WE GROW AGAIN! Looking for more team members to grow with us. We are a locally owned and operated *Pinch A Penny -* *Champion Forest* pool retail & service company! Seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Cleaner and/or Technician with at least 1 year prior hands-on swimming pool industry experience. This position is focused primarily on pool cleaning, repairing and preventative maintenance care for residential/commercial pools.

We are looking for someone who can work efficiently, independently, reliably, and be able to communicate professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

Pool Cleaners:

• Cleaning and maintaining residential swimming pools
• Testing and balancing pool water chemistry
• Inspecting pool equipment
• Reporting repairs and safety concerns
• Maintain accurate service notes, photos, and repair documentation
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company truck, tools, and work areas

Technicians:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, lights, valves, and plumbing
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues efficiently
• Install and replace pool equipment and components
• Maintain accurate service notes, photos, and repair documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Perform occasional pool cleaning and maintenance services when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company truck, tools, and work areas

Requirements

• Preferred: Prior professional swimming pool service and repair experience
• Strong knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, circulation systems, and water chemistry
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment independently
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely
• *Strong work ethic*, reliability, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather conditions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50lbs minimum)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
• Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements
