Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Tile Installation Team (preferably of 2 or more) to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality tile installations from start to finish. We pride ourselves on flawless execution, which means we need a professional who understands that a perfect tile job relies entirely on expert layout planning, proper waterproofing (WEDI or Schluter preferred), and flawless substrate preparation.

Core Responsibilities:

Substrate Preparation: Evaluate, level, and prepare floors and walls. Install backerboard and self-leveling underlayments to ensure surfaces are plumb and flat.
Waterproofing: Install modern waterproofing and uncoupling systems (e.g., Schluter-Systems, Wedi) in wet areas, showers, and steam rooms to strict manufacturer specifications.
Layout & Planning: Measure, calculate, and dry-lay patterns to establish balanced layouts, center points, and minimize awkward or tiny tile cuts at edges.
Installation & Setting: Mix and apply the correct thin-set mortars or adhesives based on material specifications. Correctly back-butter tile when required to ensure maximum mortar coverage and transfer.
Finishing: Cut and shape tiles precisely around obstacles using wet saws, snap cutters, and angle grinders. Apply grout, pack joints cleanly, and install color-matched caulk/silicone at all changes of plane.
Quality Control: Maintain clean grout lines and eliminate lippage using tile leveling systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional tile installation experience (residential or commercial).
Material Expertise: Proven experience working with a wide range of materials, including large-format porcelain (LFT), ceramic, natural stone (marble, granite, travertine), glass, and mosaics.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods, and maintain precision under physical demands.
Tools: Must possess a reliable vehicle and standard tools of the trade (specialized equipment like XL Wet Saws and XL Cutters can be provided).
